Mizpah is a mothering soul. She loves newborns (regardless of the species!) and will lovingly take care of them.

Hillmeadow Mizpah is the daughter of our PawPaws Smooth as Satin (Pippa) and Tegan's Themelios (Thijs). She is Eddie's litter sister. Mizpah has a permanent home with us, and is Lauren's full-time companion. Mizpah is a miniature Cobberdog weighing only 20 pounds. She is 16 inches tall at the withers. She has a lovely wavy fleece coat in a parchment colour. Miz is a gentle sweetheart. She is a very perceptive girl, she is always aware of human emotion and what is going on in her environment. She picks up training quickly, is naturally obedient, and is very good at checking in with her people (especially on walks). Mizpah is our best puppy midwife and takes pride in supervising the little ones. 'Mizpah' is a Hebrew word and connotes the strong emotional bond or connection between two people, even though they are far apart or separated. For those who are familiar with the works of Lucy Maud Montgomery, it draws to mind the affection between kindred spirits, bosom buddies, or the race who knows Joseph. Mizpah has 'Good' hips and normal elbows. She has normal evaluations of her eyes, heart, dentition, and patellas. Mizpah is a carrier for DM, but has an otherwise clear genetic analysis. |
