Puppy Kong: for crate training, try putting treats inside the Kong when leaving the puppy at home for a few hours. (amzn.to/2LVygwu)
Kong Knotz: every puppy needs a durable and soft toy to cuddle with in their crate (amzn.to/2O9QYOp)
Kong Wubba: every dog loves a good squeaker! Squeaky toys are an excellent stimulation toy for your dog, but be careful to supervise their play as broken toys and loose squeakers can become a choking hazard. Our experience with the Kong Wubba is that it is a more durable squeaky for hours of enjoyment (amzn.to/2LWKntg)!
Chuck-it Ultra Ball: the toy that lasts until you lose it! Please be careful to store the launcher separately as it is very susceptible to puppy teeth! (Try the Chuck-it Squeaker ball for even more fun- this is Beatrix's favourite:amzn.to/2AD1YlH)
WestPaw Zogoflex toys: for the active chewer these toys are virtually indestructible and come with a guarantee. Our dogs love their Bumi fetch toys and their Tux (amzn.to/2LQLpI8)
Jolly Pet: this brand is wonderful for dogs that are tougher on their toys. We really enjoy their soccer ball and the Push-n-Play (amzn.to/2LMf30W)
GoDog: this is our favourite brand for soft toys. The chew-guard layer does well with our dogs that love their stuffies, but also are hard on toys. (amzn.to/2OHv6uP)
Natural bones are a great way to maintain your dog’s teeth and to keep the entertained for hours! Our dogs love deer or elk antlers and raw beef bones! Our puppies love pig ears when they are teething.
Please remember to throw out toys that your puppy has wrecked- broken toys can be a choking hazard, or even necessitate a trip to the vet to have a piece of a toy removed. Some toys and chews should only be given with supervision.
Cleaning and rotating toys keeps your puppy interested in their toys rather than yours!
We recommend keeping toys in a specific and easily accessible bin for your puppy so they know which items in your home are allowed for play time.
