Retired Cobberdogs

The majority of Hillmeadow's Cobberdogs live with their own forever families known as 'guardian homes'. Breeding dogs only come to stay with us for health testing, breeding, raising puppies, and the occasional vacation. We limit the number of breedings for each dog so that we can best meet our programme's breeding goals and hopefully contribute to the development of the Cobberdog. Once dogs are retired from our breeding programme, their ownership is fully transferred to their family. We are thankful for the families that share their dog with us so that we can in turn share puppies with other families.
